It’s been 10 fantastic years. Now it’s time to move on.

Dear friends

When I started Peter Lav Gallery ten years ago, the idea was to create the first art gallery in Denmark that focused exclusively on contemporary photography. There were many challenges and not everyone believed in the idea.

Today I can look back on some amazing years. I have worked with artists whose dedication and commitment has been overwhelming and inspiring. I have met people from all over the world, whose fascination with art and photography has excited me. The gallery's role in working with emerging national and international artists has been recognized by many, and during the years we have participated in some of the best international fairs and been featured in several art magazines.

Now it is time to move on. I have decided to close Peter Lav Gallery. A little wistful, yes, but I am looking forward to new challenges.

I would like to say thanks to our many visitors including collectors, curators and art foundations for visiting our gallery and  seeing our exhibitions and booths, in Denmark and abroad. Many thanks to the gallery-team and the amazing artists that I met and worked with over the years, I will continue to follow your work.

I am grateful for your loyalty, support and dedication!

In future, I will work as an independent consultant within culture, communication and PR. I will also provide independent advisory services in contemporary art photography.

See you around.

All the best, Peter
